Mount Juliet Illinois Events
Music City Youth Art School today announced a series of events for its annual summer camp for children and young adults in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
Mt. Juliet is located near Percy Priest Lake, an artificial reservoir with an average depth of about 2,500 feet. On Sunday, Cross Point Church, in the area where the explosion on 2nd Avenue North peaked, announced that its new pastor Pete Wilson will replace founding pastor Pete Wilson, who abruptly resigned last September. Cross Point has six campuses, and its main campus in Nashville suffered significant damage inside the building.
Mt. Juliet is located off Interstate 24 in the Antioch area, which leads north to Interstate 40 in Nashville and south to I-40 in Knoxville. Lebanon Road runs east to west through Mount Juliet, and US 70, which connects the 40 north-south connections, runs west to east through the city to the Tennessee-Kentucky border and then north again.

Blake was on the visual staff of Pacific Crest in 2016 and Music City in 2017-18, and the Southern Knights made their debut as a member of the WGI Marching Corps in 2014. He then served as a drill leader for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and later for the Army National Guard. Before he began his public teaching career, he joined the teaching staff of his alma mater, the University of Illinois, as a lecturer at the Urbana-Champaign Music College.
The Music City Drum and Bugle Corps is one of the largest march music organizations in the United States. In July 2008, the Drum- and Bugle-Corps, which was founded by music educators and drum corps fans in and around Nashville, was founded by a group of students from the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign's College of Music. The Corps came fourth in the 2009 US Army Corps of Engineers National Drum & Bugles Competition, and took twenty first place spots in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
With the help of a group of like-minded people, Crosspoint has a positive impact on the lives of its members and the community in general. The congregation unanimously agreed and held their last service and celebration at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of St. Louis on Saturday, July 22, 2016.
We are entering a new phase of our service as our family moves to Nashville, Tennessee, to join the staff of Crosspoint. We pack our boxes and count the days until we can be in Nashville with our families.
